Gabriel was ten when he started telling stories about a brave boy and his platypus sidekick, Platy. His mum wrote them down.

Now there are three books, and they get bigger every time.

In Book One, Gabriel and Platy face a two-headed sea monster, solve riddles and sail to a forgotten island. In Book Two, Platy starts talking and the two of them race around the world to bring back the dodo. In Book Three, a mysterious message sends Gabriel through a portal to India, with a three-legged cat called Jack, to rescue a girl trapped inside a painting.

There are dragons, a warrior panda, a whale to ride on, puzzles to crack and a villain in an orange coat. And there is one motto to remember: "Think it, Do it, Did it."
