Cotswold Sculpture Park
Kate Markland
This weekend, Gabriel and I hopped on our bikes and rode to the Cotswold Sculpture Park. The ride itself was a treat, winding through the beautiful countryside, but the real highlight of the day was discovering all the unique and fascinating sculptures.
As we wandered through the park, each piece seemed to tell its own story. There was so much to take in, from abstract shapes to more lifelike figures, and Gabriel and I loved exploring every corner.
Our absolute favourite was the incredible sculpture of a man painting the sky blue. It captured our imagination instantly—this idea that someone could reach up and colour the sky. The brushstrokes made it feel like he was creating something magical, reminding us how art can make us see the world in a new way.
By the end of the day, we left feeling inspired, and with the memory of that man painting the sky firmly in our minds. A perfect combination of fresh air, cycling, and creativity!
